We are so pleased to be hosting Steve & Uttara from OCADU’s inclusive design program as they work with us in researching how we can make STEM more inclusive. Steve & Uttara are graduate students who are currently working on creating cross-sensory experiences as part of their fellowship research, and have been working with our team to give recommendations on how to make STEM MINDS programs as accessible as possible!

Some of their work so far includes creating a 3D printed, cross-sensory solar system, redesigning some of our project kits, and creating 3D printed micro-organisms to teach students about biology. They have also been working with our staff on the planning and implementation of specialized STEM workshops for the CNIB’s summer camp program!

Check out some of their awesome work so far,  and stay tuned for more updates on their research coming soon! To see more of Uttara’s work, visit www.uttaraghodke.com
