Keep your little ones engaged and having fun with STEM all from the comfort of your own home!

Join our expert staff for a full week of STEM activities including coding, STEAM crafts, video game design, LEGO challenges, and more!

Our staff deliver all classes virtually and are available live to help provide targeted guidance and assistance to our youngest learners as they work through awesome activities and projects.

PROGRAM DETAILS

Location: From your home! A link to join our virtual classroom will be provided in a separate email once you have registered.

Ages: 4 – 7

Dates & Times: Monday – Friday from 11:45 am – 12:30 pm EST (Toronto time zone) throughout the summer.

Important Information:

  • All children must be supervised by a parent/guardian for the duration of the class.
  • In order to participate in the class, you will need to download Zoom. Your Zoom display name MUST match either your name or your child’s name or you will not be permitted to join the class.
  • For all classes that involve the use of an app (e.g. coding, video game design, etc), you will need 2 devices in order to join the class; 1 device of any kind to view the instructor on and 1 tablet to use the app on. You will need to download the app prior to the start of the class. A phone is not recommended due to the small screen size.

Onboarding Procedure:

If you have completed your registration before 10:00 am on the Saturday preceding the start of the virtual camp, you will receive a full onboarding email by the Saturday evening.

If you complete your registration after 10:00 am on the Saturday preceding the start of the virtual camp, please allow up to 24 hours to receive your onboarding email.

Please add [email protected] to your approved contacts list in order to ensure you receive all email communications. 

Please note that enrolment for all virtual summer camps closes at 3:00 pm the Sunday prior to the start of camp in order to allow for adequate time for clients to review our onboarding materials. 

You are responsible for reviewing the onboarding email in detail and being prepared with all materials before the class start time. Class starts promptly at 11:45 am.

Week 1 | June 29 – July 3* | Media Moguls

*no class on Wednesday, July 1 due to holiday

The connections between art and tech are ever-growing. This week, students will create a different “movie prop” each day. At the end of the week, all students will join our live storytelling session where we use our props to animate the story!

Week 2 | July 6 – 10 | Game Design Gurus

Why just play video games when you can make them? Join us as we go through the journey of a video game designer and learn how to design, create, and program your very own fully playable video game using Bloxels!

Week 3 | July 13 – 17 | Industrious Engineers

Ready to take a deep dive into the world of engineering? Every day students will participate in a different LEGO build challenge as they learn important concepts related to the engineering design process, strong and stable structures, and more!

Required Materials:

  • LEGO

  • Lego base (optional)

  • Blank paper

  • Writing utensils


Week 4 | July 20- 24 | Computer Captains

Ready to learn a new language? Explore a variety of coding challenges, activities, and apps as you learn the fundamentals of code!

Week 5 | July 27 – 31 | STEAM Explorers

Become an explorer in the world of STEM as you spend each day discovering a new topic. From learning to code, to creating your own video game, to fun STEM crafts and activities, there has never been a better time to start on your #fearlesslearning journey!
