A huge congratulations are in order for our STEMbotics team on their win at Ontario Innovation Celebration on February 25th! They are one of three teams that now have the opportunity to compete at the World Innovation Championship level!
The team started their FLL (FIRST Lego League) journey in September when they start working on the Hydro Dynamics challenge. They won the Project Award at the Regional competition in December and then the Innovation Award at the Provincial competition in January. They then moved on to compete at the Ontario Innovation Celebration this past weekend.
The teams journey has nothing but fun! Not only are the kids competing, but they are also building amazing skills! They even made it on to TVO Kids in February to showcase their project! The team also attended the Environment Advisory Committee at the Aurora Town Hall to showcase their innovative solution to council members and residents of the community. This ambitious team does not plan on stopping anytime soon, and are getting ready to audition on Dragon’s Den on April 7th!
